NOTICE: This repo is moving. The official GlusterFS community YUM repo is now at http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/repos/YUM/glusterfs/ This repo is for people who want to: + over-ride glusterfs-3.2.x on: - Fedora-16, i386, x86_64 - Fedora-17, i686, x86_64, arm, armhfp - RHEL-5, i386, x86_64 - RHEL-6, i386, x86_64 + use glusterfs-3.3.x on Fedora-18, armhfp + use glusterfs-3.3.x on RHEL 7 Alpha. (Do _NOT_ ask me where to get RHEL 7 Alpha.) This repo is _NOT_ for people using Fedora 18 or later; glusterfs-3.3.x or later is standard in your release and you should use the regular fedora yum repos for your updates. (If you're looking for the old 3.3.0-xx RPMs that used to be here, they're still here, in the .../old/ subdirectory.) By using this repo it's explicitly understood by you that you are intentionally breaking glusterfs-3.2.x and HekaFS compatibility. To use this repo: + There are two repo files here: epel-glusterfs.repo and fedora-glusterfs.repo + download the correct one for your distribution. For RHEL and RHEL clones like CentOS use the epel-glusterfs.repo file. For Fedora use the fedora-glusterfs.repo file. + Install the file in your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory + run yum with --enablerepo=epel-glusterfs or --enablerepo=fedora-glusterfs, e.g. `yum --enablerepo=fedora-glusterfs install glusterfs` Most RPMs in this repo are built on the Fedora Project's Koji build system at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=5443 The Fedora, epel-6, and epel-7 RPMs are signed by me with my 2048-bit gpg key. You may edit your repo file and set gpgcheck=1 at your discretion. RHEL5 does not support 2048-bit keys and the epel-5 RPMs here are not signed. All Fedora and EPEL builds, including these, follow the Fedora File System Layout standard. RPMs of earlier releases from other sources — e.g. gluster.org — do not follow the File System Layout standard. But note that all glusterfs-3.3.0 and later packages from all sources now use the File System Layout standard. On upgrading, the RPMs in this repository will preserve and move your existing .vol files from /etc/glusterd to /var/lib/glusterd; you should check to be certain that everything was moved correctly and open a bugzilla at bugzilla.redhat.com if they did not.
